Kristen and Andy's wedding. Where do I even begin?  This wedding was so special to me.  Some of you know this, some of you don't, but before I went full time into wedding photography, I worked at Groupon.  Kristen was my boss through 3 positions, and Andy was my trainer when I first started!  How cool is that?  So, they not only supported me while I worked in the corporate world, but they are so amazing that when I went into Kristen's office to tell her I was leaving Groupon (there maybe were a few tears) to pursue wedding photography she told Andy and they decided to support me in that endeavor too!  A week after they got engaged, I got an email from them asking me to photograph their wedding.  I could not believe it.  I love them so much for trusting me and continuing to support me.  They are truly gems. It was SUCH a fun day to get to hang out with friends and help two people so special to me say "I do."  The even invited my husband Steve to the reception and we got to join the party! I love reliving the day through these photos.

It was magical and fun and beautiful and every word you would use to describe an amazing day!    Having lived in the city for years, Kristen and Andy wanted to showcase their favorite parts of Chicago for their guests - especially since they were planning a move to Denver the week after the wedding!  Downtown hotel, trolley along the river, and an industrial venue? I'd say they nailed.  Congrats, K & A - you guys are rockstars.
