Rooftop BBQ's in Chicago are some of the best things in life. The view of the city, the feeling that you're on top of the world, and most of all the fact that it's warm enough to be outside in Chicago make you feel like life can't get any better. For Andy and Carly, it definitely did.
They met at a rooftop BBQ a few years ago where they bonded over their deep love for Brian McKnight. (Back and One anybody? Definitely have belted that chorus out a time or two or a million.) When I asked Andy what he loved about Carly, he laughed and said, "So many things of course." But most of all he loves that he can trust her completely. Carly knew she could spend the rest of her life with Andy because of his gentle spirit. He can calm her down even if he doesn't say anything.
When I asked them what they were most excited about for marriage, they both replied simultaneously "the forever." Perfection. I think I'm going to submit that as Brian McKnight's long awaited next album title.
I can't wait for their wedding! It's going to be full of love and laughter, but also I'm thinking there will be the added bonus of one amazing wedding playlist. Congrats, Andy and Carly!
